Sportradar collaborates with the Austrian Federal Police in anti-doping efforts

Sportradar Integrity Services has been extended to its existing Memorandum of Understanding with the Austrian Federal Police by adding anti-doping service.
The agreement was made with the Bundeskriminalamt, (BK), of the Ministry of the Interior. This collaboration which began in 2015 has given Sportradar Integrity Services the opportunity to work together and exchange data and analysis related the the upholding of integrity.
Sportradar will provide its anti-doping solutions, technologies and network under the extended MoU. These services can be accessed by Sportradar, which will allow them to exchange information to help detect and prevent crimes against the Austrian Federal Anti-Doping Act.
Sportradar provides services to help sports organizations as well as antidoping groups. This includes the creation of testing plans, and identification and interception by trafficking networks.
Sportradar, under this agreement, will offer the Austrian Police Force information and investigation support. It can be extended to athletes, sports bodies, third-party organizations and medical professionals. It will offer anti-doping courses for the police force.
Andreas Holzer, Director of the Criminal Intelligence Service Austria, said: “For years, the Austrian Federal Criminal Police Office has played a pioneering role in integrity measures in sports.
“For this reason, the long-standing cooperation with Sportradar is now being extended to include cooperation in the fight against doping, in addition to match fixing.”
Dominic Mueser, Sportradar’s Global Head of Anti-Doping Services, added: “Through our use of technology and data-driven anti-doping, Sportradar’s Anti-Doping Services department has established itself as a credible and trusted operator in this space, making the extension of our partnership with the Austrian law enforcement authorities a natural next step in supporting them address doping in sport.
“Building on the existing strong relationship, we’re excited about the potential this partnership has to protect clean sport, and we look forward to continuing our work together.”
