The Indianapolis Colts, an NFL franchise, has launched a new, free-to-play “pick’em” game presented by Caesars Sportsbook.
Pick Six was developed in collaboration with Genius Sports. It allows players to forecast aspects of team or player performance prior to every Colts game.
Fans will be rewarded with points for accurate predictions, which can help them to get a spot on the weekly or season-long leaderboards. Along with selected questions, official odds will be provided by Caesars.
“Our ‘Pick Six’ game is a compelling element to engage with fans in fun and unique ways,” said Roger VanDerSnick, the Colts’ Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
“The team at Genius Sports has provided us with an enhanced game that further integrates our partner, Caesars Sportsbook, while giving fans an interactive experience that tests their Colts knowledge throughout the season.”
As VanDerSnick touched on, Pick Six represents an attempt to foster greater fan engagement, following in the footsteps of several other brands that have likewise launched pick’em games in recent months.
Earlier this year, the PGA Tour and NBC Sports launched a “Pick’Em Live” game, while FuboTV pioneered the integration of pick’em games and streaming in June.
The NFL team’s new Pick Six game is available now through the Colts’ mobile app or online at Colts.com/PickSix.
Josh Linforth, MD of Media & Engagement at Genius Sports, commented: “We’re thrilled to strike our latest NFL team deal with the Indianapolis Colts, helping to create more immersive and interactive fan experiences within their official app.
“By building solutions that bring together our partners at the Colts and Caesars Sportsbook, this deal is a further case study of how Genius is driving the convergence of sports, betting and media for the benefit of our partners.”
