Parimatch announced that its Russian software was no longer accessible as of 26 March.
After all legal procedures regarding technical issues, Parimatch has been permanently removed from the Russian market.
Russia has been banned from the use of Parimatch symbols, colours and slogans. Parimatch branding has been banned for all ambassadors in Russia. All Parimatch technology solutions have also stopped being used in Russia.
Parimatch Tech’s Supervisory Board made the February decision to withdraw Russia from the franchise. This was a result of Russia’s military invasion in Ukraine.
Betring LLC was subsequently notified of all pertinent documentation. They are the owners of Parimatch’s trademark that is operated under a franchise arrangement.
Parimatch Tech Co-CEO Roman Syrotian said: “The war that Russia started against the Ukrainian people and state made it unacceptable for us to use the brand and tech solutions in Russia. We have stopped the support of all processes on operational and technical levels, and we have withdrawn the Parimatch brand.”
Maksym Liashko, Parimatch Tech Co-CEO, added: “The Board’s decision to leave the Russian market was implemented on all levels. Anything Parimatch branding in Russia from now on will be considered intellectual property violation.
This isn’t a rebranding, or restyling. The franchise will be completely shut down. We have no ties or connections to any further Betring LLC activities.”
