Mansion Group will be closing its sportsbook operation, MansionBet. The operator plans to concentrate on its casinos brands and not its other businesses in the near future.
Following a detailed review of market conditions, and the effect of regulation within the UK sportbook market, this move takes effect on 31 March 2022.
Mansion Group has more than 18 years experience in the gaming industry and states that its casino business will not be affected. The operator’s primary brands in this vertical include Casino.com, MansionCasino and Slots Heaven.
Christian Block, CEO, Mansion, commented: “After careful deliberation, we have decided to cease trading our MansionBet brand. Although the commercial decision was difficult, it allows us to concentrate on our casino brands which have an excellent track record of success.
“To minimise impact on consumers, we have ensured our customers’ future winnings continue to be paid out, and stakes will be returned regardless of outcome. Finally, I would like to thank all our colleagues and partners for building the sportsbook brand, and our loyal customers for their support throughout.”
Customers who are currently customers at the sportsbook can withdraw their money until the closing date. Any winnings on open bets up to 28 April 2023, will be honored by Mansion Group.
Bristol City Football Club has an ongoing sponsorship deal with MansionBet. As part of the partnership, MansionBet branding adorns Bristol City’s home and away matchday kits.
MansionBet branding will remain in use by the football team until the conclusion of the season. However, its status as principal partner will expire on 31 March.
