Entain has dubbed its newly designed office in East London a “workplace of the future” as the group doubles down on its commitment to innovation.
The company’s remodelled space in Stratford will serve as “a collaborative, productive and innovative place” for Entain’s content creators, traders, retail and brand teams to work.
It features an esports player zone, media studio, sports café and grandstand, alongside wellbeing and accessibility facilities. What’s more, the new workplace will reportedly run on 100% renewable energy in line with the company’s commitment to be carbon net zero by 2035.
Entain says that this redesign is not just another office.
The company called it “a central part” of the group’s mission to “redefine the sports betting and gaming industry and lead in interactive entertainment.”
“We set out to develop a workplace that embodies the spirit of who we are as a global business, with innovation and collaboration at our core,” said Andy Hicks, Retail Managing Director, UK & Ireland at Entain.
“Including features such as wellbeing spaces, collaborative hubs and the latest technology, we were able to create an environment that not only enables all of our colleagues to thrive, but also create and deliver fantastic experiences for our customers.”
This further reaffirms Entain’s existing innovation efforts, and sits alongside a £100m ($130.5m) commitment, as well as the launch of the group’s “global innovation hub” Ennovate.
It is planned that the Ennovate Lab will open its first lab this spring. The location of the Ennovate Lab will be in Charterhouse Square, Farringdon.
