Parimatch announced that its Russian software was no longer accessible as of 26 March.
After all legal procedures regarding technical issues, Parimatch has been permanently removed from the Russian market.
Russia will no longer be allowed to use the Parimatch logos, colors, symbols and colours as well as global ambassadors or slogans. Parimatch branding cannot be used by any local ambassadors. Parimatch-related tech solutions in Russia are also no longer available.
Parimatch Tech’s Supervisory Board made the February decision to withdraw Russia from the franchise. This was a result of Russia’s military invasion in Ukraine.
Betring LLC has received all relevant documents as a result of the franchise agreement.
Parimatch Tech Co-CEO Roman Syrotian said: “The war that Russia started against the Ukrainian people and state made it unacceptable for us to use the brand and tech solutions in Russia. We have stopped the support of all processes on operational and technical levels, and we have withdrawn the Parimatch brand.”
Maksym Liashko, Parimatch Tech Co-CEO, added: “The Board’s decision to leave the Russian market was implemented on all levels. Any presence of Parimatch in Russia is now considered a violation to the intellectual property.
This isn’t a rebranding, or restyling. It is the complete closure of this franchise. We have no ties or connections to any further Betring LLC activities.”
