AskGamblers has announced it’s added a Responsible Gambling (RG) tab feature to its casino reviews section, thereby offering more information to potential players looking at reviews of casinos online.
The site already has this feature and it provides valuable information regarding how casinos address problem gambling. This includes deposit limits, wager limits and loss limits. Time/session limits and time-out limits. Reality checks and self assessment tests. Withdrawal locks are also available.
Highlighting the responsibility casinos have to ensure its customers safety, General Manager of AskGamblers Denis Ristic said of the new feature: “Knowing which casinos to play at may be the best of all gambling strategies. For that, the AskGamblers’ newly-added Responsible Gambling tab looks to offer a dependable casino selection with transparent rules that the players can rely on for each next move.”
Ristic then further added: “We are on a never-ending mission to give our players the best experience possible – and a pool of trustworthy casinos that will, hopefully, help them minimise gambling harm from the gameplay they’re set on enjoying. I am certain that players will find our new RG addition a crucial online companion.”
There has been a clear effort on behalf of the gambling industry in the UK to deal with problem gambling, and in May, the Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) hailed the Gambling Commission’s announcement that problem gambling rates had hit an all-time low at 0.2% – down from 0.4% annually.
BGC Chief Executive Michael Dugher commented on the statistics, saying: “These newly released figures are yet again further evidence of the positive progress we have made on problem gambling, which is low by international standards and has fallen in recent times.”
AskGamblers could be sold by Catena Media parent, Catena Media. Catena Media is currently reviewing all European operations and considering a strategic sale.
