Toronto-based theScore’s mobile sportsbook and casino app, theScore Bet, is now available for download and pre-registration for those wanting to place wagers in Ontario.
Penn National Gaming is the sole owner of theScore. TheScore was launched in 2012 and offers sports betting, digital media and other services. TheScore Bet is a mobile betting app that aims to provide an immersive experience for sports bettors. It’s currently available in New Jersey and Colorado.
Private operators will be able to legally offer sports betting in Ontario on April 4th. After that, theScore Bet can accept wagers.
And to celebrate the launch of Ontario’s regulated market, theScore Bet is hosting an official “Home Opener” launch party for fans over the age of 19 in Toronto on 2, 3 and 4 April.
TheScore Bet app is available to be downloaded anywhere in Canada. To wager, you must be at least 19 years old and located within Ontario.
TheScore Betting is authorized by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to be an online gaming operator. They are now licensed and permitted to conduct business in Ontario for iGaming Ontario. This position remains subject to a positive agreement with iGaming Ontario.
