Jamul Casino appointed Ram Patrachari its Chief Information Officer.
Jamul pointed out that Patrachari was brought in by the company to create new technology systems for the casino to ensure it remains a regional leader and provides seamless service to all its guests.
With over 25 years’ experience in Information Technology, he brings a wealth of knowledge to this role. He has worked at companies like AT&T Wireless, Compaq and Exodus Communications.
Patrachari has a Monmouth University MBA and a Stevens Institute of Technology master’s in electrical engineering degrees. He also holds credentials from the CIO Institute of UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, and the University of Chicago’s Kellogg School of Business.
“Ram’s experience and expertise will be absolutely invaluable as we continue to develop our property and grow our casino services,” said Jamul Casino President and General Manager Mary Cheeks.
“As we’re planning for the next 5-10 years, it became clear that Ram was the perfect fit. We’re delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Patrachari is also certified in Project Management Professional and Certified Information Systems Security Professional. She’s also Certified ScrumMaster and a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Patrachari commented: “I joined the Jamul Casino team because of the culture that Mary Cheeks has built, how the team interacts with each other, and how they treat guests on the floor. It’s not about technology for me. I value the people.
“I aim to cultivate an environment where team members feel free to share their ideas on how to make our workplace even better. This culture is completely aligned with my goals.”
