FanDuel Group and Game Taco have launched an app that offers casual and skill-based games.
Flutter’s sports betting brand, FanDuel Faceoff has been launched in 32 US States by the operator as it looks to diversify their product offerings.
The game is available on iOS and allows players to play in multiplayer or head-to-head games. Players can also win cash prizes by participating in special events. Faceoff currently features four Game Taco titles, Grand Slam Superstar, Wheel of Fortune, King’s Crossing and Block Trail.
FanDuel will continue to bring additional titles, including Faceoff and Game Taco.
“As we continue to diversify our product offerings to offer new ways to engage our customers, we are delighted to partner with Game Taco to create and launch FanDuel Faceoff,” said John Griffin, Senior VP, Sports Commercial at FanDuel.
“Game Taco’s history as a pioneer in the space operating the WorldWinner franchise will provide our customers access to many well-known casual games.”
This partnership represents a notable departure from FanDuel’s predominantly sports-focused product offering, and is a major foray into skill-based gaming as opposed to traditional online casino content, which the operator already offers via FanDuel Casino.
Josh Barrow, Game Taco’s CEO, commented: “FanDuel Faceoff introduces casual skill-based games to a built-in audience that likes to compete for cash prizes.
“Our games are all fun, entertaining and easy to play, but difficult to master. We look forward to adding more games, platforms and tournament styles, and making casual games of skill an integral part of the FanDuel entertainment ecosystem.”
