Circa Resort and casino to open 35,000-square-foot convention area
Circa Resort and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada will unveil its 35,000-square foot meeting and convention area this September.
This property can be booked immediately and offers audio and visual capabilities for visiting groups. There is also a space that can be customized for parties of up 1,000 persons.
The meeting and convention space will include a ballroom and breakout spaces, as well as banquet and conference space. There will also be pre-function spaces and an outdoor terrace measuring 1,600 feet. Decorated to compliment Circa’s mid-century, art deco and modern styles, the spaces were designed by JCJ Architecture with an original design concept from Steelman Partners.
Given the fact that there were no conventions during Covid-19, the importance of the opening is important. Las Vegas needs to revert to its former self. Oliver Lovat wrote it in Gaming Americamagazine: “The truth of the matter is that Las Vegas could survive without gambling.” However, if conventions were taken away from Las Vegas it would be a problem.
“As meetings and conventions make their grand return to Las Vegas, we’re excited to introduce our stunning new event spaces to meet this moment,” said Derek Stevens, Circa CEO.
“Since our opening, we have been working tirelessly to meet this next phase of growth and provide a remarkable experience for meeting planners and attendees. At our core, we love to throw a great event, and we’ve thought through every detail to help you do that on any scale, with our resort as your backdrop.”
This area will include LED lighting, adaptive and controlled HVAC systems.
Sasha Lee, Circa Director of Sales, said: “In addition to our new meeting spaces, planners can book events throughout the resort in creative spaces including the world’s largest sportsbook; a year-round pool amphitheater; restaurants from celebrated chefs and much more. We’ve worked to create a unique meetings experience, and our team of experts will help you create an event destination that allows companies to work hard, and later, play hard.”
