Page 1 of 2 Bio-mimetic sensing: Emerging applications and technologies
Rome (Italy)
16-17 September 2004
Scope
The third workshop of the NOSE II network was to offer a unique opportunity to reflect on and discuss the current state of the art and the directions of development of research and applications in the field of chemical sensing and bio-sensing.
Format
The workshop was organised in four sessions:
- Bio-mimetic sensing (Chair K. Persaud)
- Sensor fusion and integration (Chair: I. Lundström)
- Healthcare, Medical Applications (Chair: U. Weimar)
- Security (Chairs: R. Beccherelli, J. Gardner)
Each session featured invited speakers, who presented their own visions and considerations about the theme of the session, and contributions of workshop participants. The talks were intended to provide arguments to stimulate the discussion.
