NOSE II Workshops

Intention

The workshops objectives were to focus on the most pressing tasks of the joint European efforts within the network and to give a yearly contact platform for meetings as well as to initiate discussion among experts in the field on the newest technological developments. Participants were asked to discuss and express their opinion frankly and openly. Discussions were initiated by invited speakers.

They also were a contact platform to researchers, developers and manufacturer from outside the EU and the NOSE II network (USA, Asia…). The 4th workshop in Istanbul was not only intended to discuss scientific matters, but also to make contact to the new member states of the EC and associated countries finding partners for new research prospects and proposals.
